The original 'Link Magazines' started publishing local community magazines for areas within Basildon back in 2004, under Rosemarie & Leslie Gawn's company 'Going Going Gawn', and has since grown from strength to strength.
Now being run by Jon Howells & Sarah Maguire of Link Publications, who have both been closely involved with the production of the Link Magazine in it's previous incarnations over the last few years, The Link is the next step in the successful growth of the Link Magazine. April 1st 2009 the Link Magazine combined it's community magazines to release a new 'Basildon Edition' to cater to the town's communities and businesses to a greater degree.
The areas covered with the amount of copies we are currently distributing equates to a projected readership of approximately 45,000, making the Basildon link one of the most widely read magazines in its class.
In October 2009 we launched The Romford Link magazine which is going to 15000 homes. The areas we are covering is Emerson Park, Heath Park, Gidea Park and parts of Havering.
The magazines is distributed bi-monthly, this means for an advertiser an edition price will now cover a 2 month period. It is delivered free to all its recipients.
The magazines contain community features including walks, history articles, recipes and business features. This balance of advertising and editorial is the fundamental reason editions are often kept way beyond the month of distribution, this has proven to benefit advertisers as we ensure that your advertisement or feature stands a much better chance of getting noticed than with other media.
